In the sitting room, a Nicky Haslam designed curved sofa is covered in scarlet carriage cloth from Studio QD. A tub chair from James Jackson, sits in front of a white whatnot, one of William Yeoward’s earliest pieces, which holds books and is topped by a fibreglass coral. The triangular box seat is antique Swedish. The blinds are in ‘Shutter Stripe’ linen/cotton in pomegranate red, from Nicky Haslam’s Random Harvest collection for Turnell & Gigon, with fringing by Smith & Brighty. Scraps of French floral linen were used for the cushions on the sofa and William IV chair and the carpet is from Silk Avenue.
