Grown in the fertile soil of the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, the pomodorino del Vesuvio, is known for its elongated oval shape and thick skin which enables it to be harvested in bunches and stored for long periods. Its exceptional flavour makes it a prime ingredient in local Neapolitan cuisine
