Fashion designer Liza Bruce and her artist/designer husband, Nicholas Alvis Vega, have created the ultimate exotic escape in this Jaipur apartment. An old 'haveli', one of several small palaces built around a central courtyard that would once have belonged to members of the Maharajah's court, in its 21st century revival, there are just five rooms - one perfect jewel-coloured box after another
