British-born interior designer Kathryn Ireland has successfully fused a relaxed European sensibility with the hot hues appropriate to sun-drenched California. At Hilltop, this adobe hacienda north of Los Angeles, she has mingled Mexican and Moroccan styles, using blazing reds and pinks that vie with the bougainvillea
